WHAT IS AN MF CEILING?
Suspended ceilings and MF ceilings have many similarities, MF ceilings are actually a form of suspended ceiling. Metal framing (MF) ceiling systems are designed to fix plasterboards to them rather than suspended ceiling tiles.

This process, like regular suspended ceilings also has a wide range of benefits, some of which are the following:
BETTER FLOW
Although both regular suspended ceilings and MF ceilings do offer a better look to the whole space in general, MF ceilings take this one step further as they create the illusion that it is itself, the structural ceiling.
LOWER ENERGY USAGE
MF Ceilings also help to decrease your energy usage in the same way suspended ceilings do. Reducing the total area that needs heating and lighting, combined with insulation will help to decrease energy costs.
CLEANLINESS & HYGIENE
Limiting the amount of dust and contaminants that can arrive into the space from above, through the environment or via ducts and pipes. The MF ceiling will prevent them from falling into the used space and help keep it cleaner.
WHY CHOOSE AN MF CEILING?
As MF and regular suspended ceilings do have a lot in common, you may be wondering why you would choose an MF ceiling. The easiest way to find which solution is better for you is usually by its application.

Offices will be great for both Suspended Ceilings or MF Ceilings. However, for buildings such as studios, gyms, galleries, retail units and the like, MF ceilings are a better fit. The finish that comes with MF Ceilings can to be customised in many ways just like a normal ceiling in a home.

The smooth finish allows you to paint or add things to the ceiling that wouldn't be possible with a regular suspended ceiling.
